It's not about your performance
It's about your God
He put on flesh and lived life perfect
Because you and I cannot
Why do you burden yourself
Trying to be perfect all the time?
You already have His righteousness
His yoke is easy and His burden is light!
Child, be humble
Why don't you take His gift?
His blood was not wasted
He bought you to make you His
Now you are clothed in His perfection
Your Father only sees His sacrifice
So why are you doing all that running?
It doesn't make sense; He's already paid the price
